What is Rustic Wild Arrow?
Rustic Wild Arrow (RWA) Photo Garden is a unique photography space located in Brooklyn, MI. Nestled in the woods on private property, the garden offers both indoor and outdoor settings, providing photographers and visitors with a variety of beautifully curated environments to explore and capture stunning images. While primarily designed for professional photographers and their clients, RWA is also open for individuals who wish to book a session and take their own photos.
Our Story
RWA Photo Garden began in 2020 as a personal project for Holly and her husband. Initially intended as a family hangout, the space quickly gained attention after Holly shared her DIY projects on social media. Local photographers and the community expressed interest, leading to the official opening of the garden just one month after the completion of its first structure.
Seasonal Availability & Styling
RWA operates year-round but closes every April for maintenance and seasonal updates. The first open weekend of the season aligns with Mother’s Day, and the garden remains open through the second week of December. The space undergoes seasonal transformations, ensuring a fresh and unique experience each year with new set designs and styled spaces.
Booking & Pricing
• Summer & Fall: $75 per hour
• Holiday Specialty Setups: $80 per hour

Booking Policies
Rescheduling & Cancellations
• Clients may reschedule or cancel their session up to 8 days before the scheduled date without any extra charges, subject to availability.
• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 8 days of the session fall under the client’s responsibility. Clients may attempt to sell their spot in the designated Facebook group.
Updated Policy on Repeat Cancellations
• Effective immediately, if a client has two consecutive cancellations, all future bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking and will be non-refundable.
Cancellations by Garden Management
• In rare cases where we must cancel due to severe weather or garden maintenance, clients will receive either a full refund or a reschedule option at no additional cost.
No-Show Policy
• If a client fails to show up without prior notice, no refund will be issued for any payments made.
• Any future bookings must be paid in full within 48 hours of a no-show. If payment is not received, the booking will be forfeited and made available to others.
Late Arrivals
• Clients arriving late may have their session shortened to avoid conflicts with other scheduled sessions.
• Full session fees will still apply, and your shoot will end at the originally scheduled time.
Important Notes:
• All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be made through Facebook Messenger or email.
• Please communicate any potential changes as soon as possible to avoid additional charges or scheduling conflicts.

Absolute Gem.
So impressive!! Holly seems to have an endless wealth of creativity, and while the garden is always evolving it’s always SO beautiful! All the areas she curates are different enough to capture a wide variety of photos, but still within the same elegant tone and all just gorgeous. My family and I always look forward to our sessions in the garden. The area is tucked away just enough to somehow feel cozy and airy at the same time. Very comfortable. Holly and her property offer SO much for any type of session! You will not be disappointed!

Expanding my love for decorating and creating fun spaces, I created a fun photo garden for the public to rent and enjoy! I started the garden back in May 2020 as just a fun space for my family. Well, fast forward and here I am offering it to photographers/the public to come out and use and enjoy the space while taking photos with all of the fun whimsical set ups I created. I promise to you that every time you come out to our garden each year it’ll be a completely different feel with added touches to it.
